Designed Seed Blends

Our designed seed blends become available each September after our annual seed harvest.

Each year we collect, clean, and prepare fresh seed from our nursery-grown native plants before blending our mixes for the season. Because we work with a new seed crop every year, our designed blends are unavailable while this work is underway. We appreciate your patience. 

Our designed blends are thoughtfully created for common restoration and landscaping goals using native species from southern Vancouver Island. All seed is produced from our nursery-grown field stock (not wild-collected) and grown without herbicides, pesticides (including neonicotinoids), or synthetic fertilizers.

Looking for Something More Site-Specific?

If your project has unique conditions, we're also happy to design a custom seed blend. We can help develop a mix based on your site's soils, moisture, light, and restoration goals.

Custom blends require a minimum seed purchase of $250. If you're unsure whether one of our designed blends or a custom blend is the best fit, please be in touch.
