Shipping Policy
We do not ship PLANTS (potted, bare root, or bulbs). We can ship seeds locally within BC.
*We are unable to ship SEEDS (seed packets, seed blends, bulk seed) outside of BC. Please refer to The Area We Serve below.
We ship seed year-round, but the majority of seed becomes available in early fall after it is collected from our seed fields, so you get the freshest seed possible. Standard seed packet orders will require 5 to 7 business days to package and prepare for outgoing shipping. Bulk Seed orders may take up to 10 business days to prepare prior to shipping. Custom seed orders may require more time to prepare, please contact us by email for custom seed orders. Shipping rates and times are determined via Canada Post and subject to change.
Delivery Policy
Yes, we can deliver! We charge a mileage fee of $0.83 per kilometre plus travel time hourly at $70/hour with a 1-hour minimum from 2716 Dooley Road in Saanich or 4286 Metchosin Road in Metchosin. We share a delivery van with the wonderful Sea Bluff Farm and have Deliveries typically go out Thursdays and Fridays and require a minimum of 5 business days' notice prior to the requested delivery date. We do not offer delivery every day at this time. Although we do not have a packaging facility to accommodate all possible external courier requirements, we are happy to load plants directly onto a variety of vehicles. Most of our plants are well suited to southern and eastern Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and adjacent areas. If you are planning a project outside of this region, be aware that not all of our plants will be native to your area. Please check reference materials for your local plants and ecosystems to ensure that you aren’t planting non-native plants. We do not ship seeds outside of British Columbia. Within British Columbia, some sales may be limited depending on your region, particularly in the case of species that are naturally restricted to southern Vancouver Island. Custom seed blend species may be limited to plants that occur naturally in your region. We are always happy to discuss special circumstances!
