Cars: Take Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N towards Langford from Victoria then exit 10 towards View Royal/Colwood. Merge onto Burnside Rd, then continue straight onto Old Island Highway S, and follow it directly onto Sooke Rd. Make a left onto Metchosin Rd, then continue for another 8 kilometers. The nursery is on the right side of the road. Look for the tall wood fence and the Satinflower sign; the entrance is just past the fence. Use caution when entering the driveway as it is a single lane, and there may be vehicles exiting.Bicycles: Follow the Galloping Goose Trail from Victoria for about 25 kilometers. Once the trail crosses Happy Valley Rd, turn left to stay on Happy Valley Rd all the way into Metchosin. When you reach the road's end, turn left onto Metchosin Rd; the nursery will be on the left. Bus: From Victoria, take bus 95 to Langford and exit on Jacklin at Dunford. Bus 55 will take you into Metchosin where you can disembark at Metchosin at Wootton. Walk northeast on Metchosin Rd and look on the left side of the road for the nursery. Bus schedules may vary throughout the week; we recommend checking the BC transit website for maps, fares, and schedules. |
