Goodbye Emma!
We want to give a warm send-off to a treasured member of the Satinflower Team, Emma!
Emma has been with the nursery since 2022. During her time, she has been an incredibly valued team member, helping to care for our half-acre seed field in Cobble Hill. She has completed multiple seasons of seed collection and caretaking of the native seed rows, helping the nursery to make native seeds available. The Cobble hill seed rows include many of the species we are proud to offer, like Nodding Onion, KEXMIN, Farewell-to-Spring, Woolly Sunflower, Yarrow, Sea Blush, Common Camas, and a suite of native grasses.
Emma co-founded Wilder Restoration, a landscape design company, focused on restoring ecosystems and working with people to bring native plants to their home spaces. As the company has grown, Emma's time is needed at her thriving company! We recommend Wilder Restoration to clients looking for assistance with invasive species removal and bringing native plant gardens and spaces to life with native plants.
Emma, we are grateful for your dedication, knowledge-sharing, hard work, humour, and incredible flower fashion in the seed field! We look forward to the years ahead of collaborating on projects and supporting each other. Thank you for all your contributions!
